GX1200E

will produce a ringing alarm

sound and the position from the polled

vessel is sent to a GPS chart plotter via

NMEA 0183. (DSC BEEP needs to be

enabled to hear alarm.)

9. Press the

key to show the position

from the polled vessel transferred on the

display.

10. Press the

soft key to show the

position data again as the “

OTHER LOG

”

menu. Press the

soft key again

to return to radio operation mode.

does not receive a reply,
