8.2.1 Mounting a Field Device Coupler for Installation in a Field Enclosure
• The field device coupler for installation in a field enclosure is always supplied ready to
mount on DIN rails.
• Mounting without an enclosure: Installation in non-hazardous areas,
e.g. in a normal cabinet or open frame.
• Mounting with enclosure: Installation in hazardous areas,
e.g. in a Series 8146, 8125 or 8150 R. STAHL protective enclosure or
in a certified enclosure made by another manufacturer.
8.2.2 Mounting the Shield Bus
The shield terminal blocks and connecting line to the earth connection bolt are already
mounted in the delivery status.
