SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE

DRIVE BELT

You do not need extra tension adjustment, but check belt
for wear or tension by pushing the belt and replace if neces-
sary.

Belt Replacement: Gasoline Engine

Install a device onto the tension adjuster and rotate clock-
wise to release the tension and take off the belt.

Gasoline Engine

The engine could inadvertently start while checking the belt and
cause moving parts to crush or cut. Remove key from ignition
switch.

FUEL FILTER/DRIVE BELT

FUEL FILTER

Service Interval

If the filter is contaminated, the supplied fuel will be reduced,
main components will be damaged due to entering the con-
taminated materials and the performance of catalytic con-
verter will be deteriorated.

Replace the fuel filter according to the specified maintemamce
schedule.

GASOLINE ENGINE

Replace with a Ssangyong genuine part with specified intervals.

CAUTION

Replacement

Every 100,000 km (if using poor quality

of fuel, replace every 30,000 km)
