Towing with damage to the transfer case

If the transfer case is defective, the same procedure can be followed as described in

§ 4.17.1. Towing

with functioning diesel engine, service brake and steering system

However, there are some additional problems:

1. The drive is eliminated:

Remove the drive shafts on the output shafts of the transfer case.

2. The power-assisted steering is not (fully) functioning properly.
