Networking
Your Spectra Connect is equipped with state of the art networking options to allow the
maximum user control in a wide variety of installations. The instructions below will
help you get the most out of your Spectra Connect.
Connecting to the existing Network
1.
Turn power to the system off.
2.
Connect a standard Cat5e or Cat6 ethernet cable from the control board located
inside the feed pump module to your router or networking switch.
3.
Turn power to
the system back on.

Follow the screen prompts below:

‘
Device IP
’
address shown in and record the 10 digit numerical address on
the front of this manual for future reference.
Note: Your Spectra Connect is only available when your device is connected to the
same local network as the Spectra Connect control board. If you have difficulty con-
necting to your watermaker control application, double check the that your device net-
work is the same as your Spectra Connect
Ethernet Jack
Note: If you are connecting directly
into a wireless router,
DO NOT CON-
NECT TO THE WLAN (Wireless Lo-
cal Area Network)
ethernet port.
You must connect to one of the LAN
ports typically labeled 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.
