3 Using RXT Drives in the RXT350
In its minimum configuration, the RXT350 contains at least one RXT drive. It can
optionally contain one or two additional RXT drives or also half-inch tape drives. No
matter which drive configuration your RXT350 has when you purchase it, the
configuration can be changed or upgraded at any time. For information on adding
drives to empty drive bays or upgrading or changing drive types, contact your sales
representative.

Running Backups
Configure and run backups and restores just as you would for any stand-alone drive.
Identify RXT media packs and tape media by referring to their bar codes, just as you
would for any mobile media. For some recommendations on fine-tuning the use of the
RXT drives and media, refer to
