Tape Picker—Medium Transport Element
The library’s robotic tape picker is its only medium transport element. Below is the
Element Descriptor for the tape picker.
Cartridge Slots—Storage Elements
The slots in the library’s data cartridge magazine are the storage elements. In the table
below, the Access bit (byte 02, bit 3) is set to 1 if the tape picker can access the slot at
