The library does not return any data to the
SEND DIAGNOSTIC
command. If its self-test
completes successfully, the library returns a
GOOD
status. Otherwise, it returns a
CHECK
CONDITION
status. The sense information, available with a
REQUEST SENSE
command, indicates
a hardware failure (sense key 2h), and additional information may be returned in the
ASC and ASCQ.
