Replace the spacer bar (

) centrally onto the top cooling block (

slowly lower the top bolster pressing surface (

) by a clockwise rotation
of the lead screw (

all the components of the pressing
system
(the top bolster surface (

), the spacer bar (

), Top Half
Assembly, foils and sample “sandwich” and Lower Half Assembly) are
just touching each other. These components should be fairly loosely
held together at this stage, prior to heating and melting of the sample.
