Manually set CPU frequency.
Once the “CPU Frequency Mode” is set to “Manual”, the CPU FSB (Front
side Bus speed) can be changed from the range of 0~255MHz. Of course not
all the setting will work for your CPU. For Current AMD Athlon XP, the
standard rated FSB is either 100 MHz or 133MHz. By changing your CPU
FSB to a higher speed other than it is rated is called ‘overclock’. The
maximum speed your CPU can be overclocked is depended on your
components. This can be determine by gradually increase your CPU FSB
until it started to lock your system up. To change the CPU Frequency,
highlight the “Frequency 1MHz Stepping” and a pop up screen will show.
You can key in the frequency your CPU can run follow by the ‘Enter’ key.
