Installing the VIA Onboard LAN Drivers under Windows XP (Because
Windows XP can detect VIA LAN driver automatic, so this installation
is for updating LAN driver)

1.

Move the cursor to my computer icon.

2.

Press mouse right button select "properties", then click it.

3.

Click "Hardware", then click Device Manager".

4.

Double click "Network adapters".

5.

Double click "VIA PCI 10/100Mb Fast Ethernet Adapter".

6. Click

"Driver".

7. Click

"Update

Driver".

8.

Select "Install from a list or specific locations", click it.

9. Click

on

"Next".

10. Click

"Browse"

11. The LAN driver directory is in SOYO CD "D:\LAN\VIALAN"

(where D: is your CD-ROM), then press "ok".
