Once you click a disk in the
Available Disks
list box or the
Pool
list
box, the device information for that disk appears, including
Model
Number
,
Location
,
Capacity
and
Mode
. It will help you to determine
which disks will be added/removed to/from the spare pool.
You may also refer to the brief help information at the bottom of the
Spare Pool Management window.
Note:
1. When a disk is added/removed to/from the spare pool, the
software will ask you to reboot the system, you can reboot at
once or later.
2. When
there
is
no RAID 1 or RAID 0/1 array, if you want to add
a disk to spare pool, the spare disk will not take effect when the
array is broken.
