To change tracks
• In the music player, tap or .
To pause a track
• In the music player, tap .
To fast forward and rewind music
• In the music player, touch and hold or .
You can also drag the progress indicator marker right or left.
To adjust the audio volume
• Press the volume key.
To search for music
1 In the music player, select either
Artists
,
Albums
,
Songs
or
Playlists
, as desired.
2 Press .
3 Select Search Music .
To listen to the music player while using other applications
1 Press or to leave the music player.
2 Open and use other applications while the music player is playing in the background.
Alternatively, you can press and hold down to access the most recently used applications.
To return to the music player when it is playing in the background
1 Drag the status bar downward to open the Notification panel.
2 Tap the title of the current track to open the music player.
If you have recently used the music player, press and hold and then tap Music to open the
player.
To delete a track
1 When browsing your tracks in the music player library, touch and hold a track title.
2 Tap Delete .
You can also delete albums and playlists this way.
Playing music in random order
You can play tracks in playlists in random order. A playlist can be, for example, a playlist
you have created yourself, or an album.
To play tracks in random order

In the music player, tap and navigate to an album. Or tap and browse to a
playlist.
2 Open the album or playlist by tapping its name.
3 Press .
4 Tap .
To use a music track as a ringtone
1 In the music player, touch and hold a track you want to use as your ringtone.
2 Tap Use as phone ringtone .
You can also add the track that is currently playing as a ringtone. Press and tap Use as
phone ringtone .
