4-4-4. FAN Control Check
It can change the fan motor speed.
Procedure:
1. Enter the “4. LCD/Others” mode.
(Refer to “4-4. LCD/Others” on page 27)
2. Rotate the selector knob to select the “4. FAN Control Check”.
3. Press the [ENTER] key to enter the “4. FAN Control Check”
mode.
4-4.FAN Control Check
1. fan off (HAP-Z1ES only)
2. fan slow
3. fan mid (HAP-S1 only)
4. fan high
5. Back to LCD/Others Menu
Note:
“3. fan mid (HAP-S1 only)” cannot use in this unit.
4. Rotate the selector knob to select the “1. fan off (HAP-Z1ES
only)” and press the [ENTER] key.
5. The fan motor is stopped.
6. Rotate the selector knob to select the “2. fan slow” and press
the [ENTER] key.
7. The fan motor is changed to slow speed.
8. Rotate the selector knob to select the “4. fan high” and press
the [ENTER] key.
9. The fan motor is changed to high speed.
4-5. HDD
It can display the hard disk drive information.
Procedure:
1. Enter the service DIAG mode.
(Refer to “1. Entering Method of The Service DIAG Mode” on
page 25)
2. Rotate the selector knob to select the “5. HDD”.
3. Press the [ENTER] key to enter the “5. HDD” mode.
Note 1:
When the hard disk drive is damaged, the information (model
name, serial number and
fi
rmware revision) of hard disk drive is
not displayed on the liquid crystal display.
In addition, when the cable connected to the hard disk drive is
disconnected or broken, the information of hard disk drive is not
displayed on the liquid crystal display.
When the information of hard disk drive is not displayed, check
the cable connected to the hard disk drive. When the cable is bro-
ken, replace it and enter the “5. HDD” mode again.

4. Connect a USB memory (FAT32 formatted) to the USB con-
nector on the main unit.
5. Rotate the selector knob to select the “4. SMART Data
Read(Need USB Memory)” and press the [ENTER] key.
(When a USB memory is not connected to the USB connector
on the main unit, “Failed to save USB memory” is displayed
on the liquid crystal display. But the SMART data is displayed
on the liquid crystal display)
