There is no sound.
Turn MASTER VOLUME clockwise
(or press repeatedly on the
remote).
The headphones are connected to the
jack.
Check the CROSS FADER slider
position when using the DJ mode
(page 52, 53).
Check the speaker connections
(page 19).
The specified station may have
temporarily stopped broadcast.
There is no audio output during Rec
Timer.
No sound is output when transferring
music to the USB device.
There is no sound output from the
headphones.
Check if the channel (CHANNEL A
or B) for the selected function and the
CUE ( or ) button you pressed
matches when you are listening to the
sound in DJ mode using only either
CHANNEL A or B.
When in DJ mode, adjust the
headphones volume with
LEVEL.
When in DJ-off mode, adjust the
headphones volume with MASTER
VOLUME (or /
on the
remote).
Check the headphones connection.
Check that the audio source on the
selected channel is played back.
There is no microphone sound.
Turn MASTER VOLUME clockwise
(or press repeatedly on the
remote) or turn MIC LEVEL clockwise
to adjust the microphone volume.
Make sure the microphone is
connected to the MIC jack correctly.
Make sure the microphone is turned
on.
Severe hum or noise.
Move the system away from sources of
noise.
Connect the system to a different wall
outlet.
Install a noise filter (available
separately) to the power cord.
The remote does not function.
Remove any obstacles between the
remote and the remote sensor on the
unit, and position the unit away from
fluorescent lights.
Point the remote at the system’s sensor.
Move the remote closer to the system.
There is acoustic feedback.
Move the microphone away from the
speakers or change the direction of the
microphone.
