Compatibility with all encoding/writing
softwares, recording devices, and recording
media cannot be guaranteed. Incompatible
USB device may produce noise or interrupted
audio or may not play at all.
The maximum number of folder levels (the
tree structure of folders) is 8.
This system cannot transfer or record music
from an audio source or play audio files on
the USB device in the following cases.
When the number of audio files exceeds
5,000.
When the number of folders on a USB
device exceeds 1,000 (including empty
folders).
These numbers may vary depending on the file
and folder structure. Do not save other types
of files or unnecessary folders on a USB device
that has audio files.
To select the playback source,
transferring or recording destination
on Sony Ericsson mobile phone
When listening to music from a Sony
Ericsson mobile phone (W302 / W595 /
W760i / W890i / W902 / W910i ) or
when transferring or recording music
from this system to the mobile phone,
you can select the playback source,
transferring or recording destination: an
internal memory of the mobile phone or
a Memory Stick.
Use buttons on the unit for operations.

Connect the mobile phone to the
(USB 1 or USB 2) port.

Press USB 1 or USB 2 to select the
USB function.

Press OPTIONS.

Turn the search dial clockwise or
counterclockwise to select “MEMORY
SEL USB1” or “MEMORY SEL USB2.”

Press ENTER.

Turn the search dial clockwise or
counterclockwise to select a memory
number.
You can select a Memory Stick when
the selected memory number is as
follows. To exit the OPTIONS menu,
press OPTIONS.
