DMW-S01NL/S02NL
A 2Gb fibre channel interface board (LSI44929o) is
installed in the DMW-S01NL/S02NL. To create and
delete logical drives, use the Windows Disk
Management Tool.
Creating Logical Drives
Proceed as follows.

Start the Disk Management tool by doing the
following.
Select Start > Settings > Control Panel >
Management Tools > Computer Management, then
click the Disk Management folder.
The Computer Management window opens.

In the Computer Management window, check to be
sure that all of the disks in the ST001 are set to
Dynamic/Online.
Note
If a disk is not set to Dynamic/Online, refer to the
explanations in the following sections and change
it to Dynamic/Online.

• “To change a Dynamic/Foreign disk to a
Dynamic/Online disk” (page 3-25)

Create a volume as follows.
Right click the first disk (in this example, Disk 1)
in the volume and select Create Volume...
The Create Volume Wizard starts.

Click Next.
The next screen appears.

Select “Striped volume” and click Next.
The next screen appears.
