Using the extension board

When attaching or removing the extension board, make
sure that unit’s power is turned off.
(1) Remove the desired optional board from it’s slot, then
attach the extension board EX-729 or EX-897 to slot
removed it.
(2) Insert the desired optional board removed as above to
the extension board EX-729 or EX-897.

1-8-1. SIU-100/100T
The operation checks for the CP-383 and LED-399 boards
can be performed in the following methods:
1. Recognition Check for Numeric Keypad
(1) While pressing the [INPUT] button on the Front Panel,
turn on the power switch.
Keep pressing the button until the display appears on
the LCD.
The check mode for the numeric keypad starts.
After the display appears, release your finger from the
button.
(2) Press 12 buttons on the numeric keypad one by one.
When each press is recognized, the display corre-
sponding to the button appears on the LCD.
(3) After all presses of buttons are recognized, “OK”
appears on the LCD.
(4) After the confirmation, turn off the power switch.

If a button is not recognized after pressed, its display does
not appear on the LCD.
If the LCD operation is not normal, the display on the LCD
may appear abnormally.
2. Recognition and Lighting Checks for Buttons
with LED
(1) Turn on the power while pressing the [OUTPUT]
button on the Front Panel.
Keep pressing the button until the display appears on
the LCD.
The check mode for the buttons with LED starts.
After the display appears, release your finger from the
button.
(2) Press each button with LED one by one.
When the press of each button is recognized, the LED
on the button is switched between on and off.
Press all buttons to confirm.
