(c) Download the data from the SIU-100/100T with the
old CPU-353 board to a PC and save as a file
(1) Connect the SIU-100/100T to a PC through the
Ethernet.

Before the connection, IP address setting(s) for the
PC and/or the SIU-100/100T are necessary.
(2) Start MS-DOS prompt program on the PC.
(3) Complete the following steps to start FTP and
save the data on the PC as a file (refer to the figure
below.):
(3-1) Type “ftp XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX” and
press Enter.
where XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is the IP
address of the connected SIU-100/100T.
In the example below, it is 192.168.0.2.
(3-2) A user name is requested. Type “admin”
and press Enter.
(3-3) A password is requested. Type “siu100” and
press Enter.
(The password typed is not displayed on the
screen.)
(3-4) When “ftp>” appears, type “get s00.bin”
and press Enter.
(3-5) Transfer of data (s00.bin file) from the SIU-
100/100T to the PC starts.
Wait until the transfer completes. it will
take about 30 seconds.
(3-6) Once the data is transferred, the s00.bin file
is saved.
(The file is saved in the folder from which
FTP is started. In the example below, this is
C:\WINDOWS.)
(3-7) Type “bye” and press Enter to end the FTP
session.
(3-8) Click the X button in the upper-right of the
window to end the MS-DOS prompt.

The downloaded s00.bin file contains all scene informa-
tion that a user created and saved, and also information
of the last operating status that was saved by SYSTEM
BACKUP.
(d) Remove the old CPU-353 board from SIU-100/
100T. (Ensure the SIU-100/100T power is first
switched OFF.)
(1) Switch the SIU-100/100T power OFF.
(2) Remove the two screws that secure the CPU-353
board.
(3) Withdraw the CPU-353 board. (It is easier to
withdraw if it is moved up and down.)
(4) Remove the panel from the CPU-353 board.
(Remove three screws and two hexagonal screws.)
(e) Start the battery backup of SRAM on the new
CPU-353 board.
A lithium battery is installed on the CPU-353 board
for SRAM backup.
When the CPU is supplied as a serviced item, this is
not set to do a backup to conserve battery power. In
this case, change the configuration to backup mode by
replacing the TP201 jumper from “2 and 3” to “1 and
2”.
(f) Install the new CPU-353 board to SIU-100/100T.
(Ensure the SIU-100/100T power is first switched
OFF.)
(1) Install the new panel to the CPU-353 board.
(Reuse the three screws and two hexagonal screws
that were removed.)
(2) Insert the new CPU-353 board and push as far as it
will go.
(3) Secure it with the two screws removed when old
CPU-353 was taken out.
