(g) Make preparations, such as setting an IP address,
as required.

This IP address setting is to upload the data file
from the PC. It should be the same address as when
the s00.bin file was downloaded from an old CPU-
353 board.
(1) Press SETUP on the front panel.
(2) Press

to display the IP sub menu.
(3) While pressing
↓
, set IP ADDRESS, GATEWAY
and SUBNET MASK, one by one.

MAC ADDRESS is a unique value set on each
board by factory setting and cannot be changed.

Restart the SIU-100/100T after the setup is
completed. The new setting becomes effective
after the restart.

As this setting is temporary, it will be deleted
after the last step of SYSTEM RESTORE and
will be replaced with the previous setting.
(h) Upload the data file from the PC to the SIU-100/
100T with the new CPU-353 board.
(1) Connect the SIU-100/100T to the PC through
Ethernet.
(2) Start MS-DOS prompt program on the PC.
(3) Start FTP and transfer data to SIU-100/100T.
(refer to the figure below)
(3-1) Change the current directory to where the
transferred s00.bin file is stored. In the
example below, it is C:\WINDOWS.
(3-2) Type “ftp XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX” and
press Enter.
where XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is the IP
address of the connected SIU-100/100T.
In the example below, it is 192.168.0.2.
(3-3) A user name is requested. Type “admin”
and press Enter.
(3-4) A password is requested. Type “siu100” and
press Enter.
(The password typed does not display on the
screen.)
(3-5) When “ftp>” appears, type “put s00.bin”
and press Enter.

Make sure the “get” command is used to down-
load data from SIU-100/100T, and the “put”
command is used to upload data to SIU-100/100T.
The s00.bin file to “put” is the file downloaded
from CPU-353 board before changing.

(3-6) Transfer of data (s00.bin file) from the PC
to the SIU-100/100T starts.
Wait until the transfer completes, which will
take about 40 seconds.
(3-7) When transferring data is completed, type
“bye” and press Enter to end the FTP
session.
(3-8) Click the X button in the top right of the
window to end the MS-DOS prompt.

By this operation, the data is tentatively trans-
ferred to the SRAM on the CPU-353 board of the
SIU-100/100T. Do not turn off the power of SIU-
100/100T, and continuously perform the next
operation.
