(3) Start the FTP to transfer the file to the SIU-100.

(3-1) Move to the folder that stores t00.bin. The
following example shows C:\WINDOWS.
(3-2) Enter “ftp XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX”.
Where “XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX” is the IP
address of the SIU-100.
The following example shows “192.168.0.2”.
(3-3) The SIU-100 requires you a user name.
Enter “admin”, and press [Enter].
(3-4) The SIU-100 requires you a password. Enter
“siu100”, and press [Enter].
(The password does not appear in the
window.)
(3-5) “ftp>” appears. Enter the transfer command
“put t00.bin”, and press [Enter].
(3-6) The data (t00.bin file) transfer starts from
the PC to the SIU-100.
It takes about 30 seconds to complete the
transfer.
(3-7) After the data transfer is completed, enter
“bye”, and then press [Enter] to exit the
FTP.
(3-8) Click [x] button on the right of the window
to close the MS-DOS Prompt window.

By this operation, the data is tentatively trans-
ferred to the SRAM on the CPU board of the SIU-
100. Do not turn off the power of SIU-100, and
continuously perform the next operation.
(d) Saving the uploaded file data into the Flash Memo-
ry using the browser
Using the Web browser (such as Internet Explorer),
perform the following operations on the PC:
(1) Start the Web browser on the PC.
(2) In Address textbox, enter “http://
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/ftptool.html”, and press
[Enter].
Where “XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX” is the IP address
of the SIU-100.
(3) The following display appears on the Web brows-
er.
(4) Click [Update] on the Web browser. The data that
was transferred from the PC through the FTP is
started to write into the Flash Memory. It takes
about 40 seconds to complete this processing.

The [Upsram] and [Upscene] buttons are for the
restore operation of the scene data. They are not
for use in this operation.
The [Version] button is for confirmation of the
firmware version. Clicking this button displays the
number of the firmware in operation. The upgrade
is completed after the data is written in the Flash
Memory and the unit is restarted. Until the unit is
restarted, the previous version number is dis-
played.
(5) When “Update Completed” appears on the Web
browser, the operation is completed.
However, the unit still operates with the previous
version at this moment.
