Attaching Ferrite Cores to Cables
To protect the digital processor against noise which may affect its
operation, attach supplied ferrite cores (noise filters) to some of the
connection cables as shown below.
How to open the ferrite cores
Use a screwdriver to
unlock the latches.

To the camera
a) When placing the ferrite core on the cable, make one turn of cable
through the core.
b) To connect a foot switch cable to the PAL model of DKC-ST5, use a
Type-B ferrite core. When placing the ferrite core on the cable, make
one turn of cable through the core.
c) With the PAL model of DKC-ST5, place two Type-C ferrite cores on
the camera cable, one at the processor-side end of cable and the
other at the camera-side end.
