Changing the play mode
You can select the play mode by pressing the REPEAT button repeatedly.
Each press changes the mode icon as follows:
Mode
Operation
Normal
Playback stops automatically after the last
audio fi le is played.
Repeat
All audio fi les are played back repeatedly.
Single
Repeat
The current audio fi le is played back
repeatedly.
Folder
Repeat
All audio fi les in the selected folder are
played repeatedly.
Shuffl e
All audio fi les are played back in random
order.
Shuffl e
Repeat
All audio fi les are played back in random
order repeatedly.
A-B
Repeat
The selected section is played back
repeatedly.

Playing a specifi ed section repeatedly
(A-B Repeat)
While playing an audio fi le, you can set the start point (A) and end point (B) for a section
you wish to play repeatedly.

Press the REPEAT button while playing an audio fi le.

Select the A-B Repeat mode from the play mode.
“A
” is displayed and blinks.

Press
button to set the start point (A) while playing back.
“B” blinks.

Press

button to set the end point (B).
“A
B” is displayed and the specifi ed section is played back repeatedly.
Notes
• You cannot set A-B Repeat for a section that overlaps two or more audio fi les.
• If you do not set the end point (B), it is automatically set to the end of the audio fi le.
