Channels
Some channels are blank • Contact the broadcaster for transmission details.
Wireless communication
Delay pictures • Wireless communication takes time to establish after turning the power
on. About 20 seconds are needed to display pictures. Selecting “Quick
Start” may shorten the waiting time (page 32).
“Wireless communication in
progress.” does not disappear,
or “Wireless communication
failed.” is displayed • When the wireless communication is disturbed, it takes about 15 seconds
to display pictures again. “Wireless communication in progress.” is
displayed until pictures come back.
• Check the installation situation of the monitor and media receiver (page 10).
• Check whether wireless equipment using the same radio frequency as
this unit (ex. wireless LAN, cordless phones, microwave ovens, etc.) is
working near by, or something disturbing wireless communication of
this unit is close to the unit. In such cases, keep such equipment away
from the unit or turn off the power of that equipment.
Noisy or interrupted picture or
sound • Check the installation situation of the monitor and media receiver (page 10).
• Check whether wireless equipment using the same radio frequency as
this unit (ex. wireless LAN, cordless phones, microwave ovens, etc.) is
working near by, or something disturbing wireless communication of
this unit is close to the unit. In such cases, keep such equipment away
from the unit or turn off the power of that equipment.
• Set the rear switch of the media receiver to another wireless channel
(page 27), or adjust the signal transmission rate or buffer time (page 42).
Delayed operation with an
external device • Use of an external device may slow down operation (due to screen signal
processing), and you may feel a delay in response time. This is not a
malfunction. Changing the buffering time may improve the response time
(page 42).
General
Distorted picture and/or sound • Keep the unit away from electrical noise sources such as cars,
motorcycles, hair-dryers or optical equipment.
• When installing optional equipment, leave some space between the
optional equipment and the unit.
• Check the antenna/cable connection.
• Keep the antenna/cable TV cable away from other connecting cables.
The unit turns off
automatically (the unit enters
standby mode) • Check if the “Sleep Timer” is activated, or confirm the “Duration”
setting of “On Timer Settings” (page 32).
The unit turns on automatically • Check if the “On Timer” is activated (page 32).
Some input sources cannot be
selected • Select “Video Labels” and cancel “Skip” of the input source (page 33).
The remote does not function • Replace the batteries.
• Register the remote to the unit using the / / / / buttons on the
front of the media receiver (page 42).
A channel cannot be added to
the Favourite list • Up to 16 channels can be stored in the Favourite list.
HDMI equipment does not
appear on “HDMI Device List” • Check that your equipment is “Control for HDMI” compatible
equipment.
The “Store Display Mode: On”
message appears on the screen • Select “Factory Settings” in the “Media Receiver Set-up” menu
(page 34).
