Chapter 5: Pre set Function
5.1 What is the Preset function?
Commonly-used menu items can be registered as shortcuts, so that it becomes easy to use
menu items of a deeper hierarchy. This function is called the “preset function”. The preset
function can register the following 18 menu items as preset menu items.
To check the preset menu items, press the menu key
of the operation section to open
the menu, and select “Preset.”
Preset menus
To register these preset menu items as shortcuts, there are two methods as follows:
1)
A method to register them in preset keys from to of the operation section;
2) A method to register them in the sub screen selection area on the sonar screen.
The above two methods are used in different ways. Instructions for using two methods are
described below.
