4.9 DRED port connections
4.10 External Residual Current Device(RCD)
All series of Solis inverters are integrated with an internal residual current device to
protect against any potential d.c component and a.c component of residual current.
Therefore, all Solis inverters, due to the design, are not able to feed in DC fault current to
the system which fully complies with IEC60364-7-712.
If an external RCD is required to be installed by local regulations, Solis recommends
installing a Type-A RCD with a threshold current higher than 100mA.
The inverter can be monitored via Wi-Fi or GPRS. All Solis communication devices are
optional. For connection instructions, please refer to the Solis Monitoring Device
installation manuals.

NOTE:
Solis hybrid inverter is designed to provide 12V power for DRED.
Please follow below steps to assemble RJ45 connector.
1. Insert the network cable into the communication connection terminal of RJ45.

3. Connect RJ45 to DRM port.

2. Use the network wire stripper to strip the insulation layer of the communication cable.
According to the standard line sequence of figure 4.19 connect the wire to the plug of
RJ45, and then use a network cable crimping tool to make it tight.
