The
USER MODES
buttons make up the console’s ‘Utility Tile’ 0. Note that this is the only Utility tile which is currently
used on the C10.

Touch the
FiLe
/
edit
button to open the file edit display and ensure that
/#nFSxxxxx
is displayed in the blue
bar at the top of the screen. If the bar is blank, touch
/#nFSxxxxx
in the file list. If the list is displaying another location,
touch the blue bar to move up through the filing system, until
/#nFSxxxxx
is displayed.

Touch the
utility tiles ->
entry in the display, followed by
tile Functions 0
from the list which appears (as
shown on Page 5-5), to open the text editor.
You will see a list of five functions in the display, in the format
x “Project Load” y
where
x
refers to the button,
“Project Load”
refers to the Project load function currently assigned, and
y
refers to the index of the function.
If this file has already been edited, some rows may display functions other than “Project Load”.

Replace the
Project Load
text with the name of the function to be assigned, retaining the quotation marks (note
that the file is case sensitive). Replace the second number with the Layer you wish to be activated with this button.
Examples of functions you may wish to assign are listed below (along with their function names):
Layer Select:
“User Layer Direct”
(followed by the Layer number)
On Air GPIO:
“On Air” 0
Solo Clear:
“Clear Listens” 0
For example, to activate Layer 3 with button 4, the line of text should read
4 “User Layer Direct” 3

Save
and touch outside the display to close it.

Restart the console in order for the changes to take effect.
