DHCP Manual Configuration
The DHCP server will search manual configurations that have been configured on
this screen when choosing a configuration to assign to a DHCP client. A manual
configuration is a binding of a configuration to a hardware type and hardware
address or a client identifier. When creating a manual configuration, only the First
IP Address, Last IP Address, Subnet Mask, Lease Duration, and Client ID or
Hardware Type and Hardware Address are required.
IP Address.
The IP address of the configuration.
Subnet Mask.
The subnet mask of the configuration.
Hardware Type.
The physical network type that the client is using, e.g.
“1”=Ethernet or RF. For a complete list, refer to the ARP section of the “Assigned

Hardware Address.
The MAC address or hardware address of the client in
hexadecimal.
Client ID.
The client identifier used by the client. Typically, this is the hardware
type followed by the Hardware Address. For example, a Solectek product or
Windows operating system with a hardware type of 1 and hardware address of
0x00-01-02-03-04-05 would use a client identifier of 01-00-01-02-03-04-05.
Default Router.
The default gateway of the configuration.
Lease Duration (Days, Hours, Minutes).
The length of the lease in days,
hours, and minutes for the configuration. A lease of 0 days, 0 hours, and 0 minutes
