6. Appendix 2: Troubleshooting
Failures in the UPS work can be caused by wrong installation, wiring, or operation. Check
these aspects first. If this is not the case, please consult your local SolarEdge agent, providing
the product model name and serial number.
Try to describe the fault in detail, such as LCD display info, LED lights status, etc.
Read this User Guide carefully to use this UPS in the right way. Some FAQ (frequently asked
questions, see below) may help you troubleshoot your problem easily.

light up, and the UPS
operates in battery
mode. The input breakers of the
UPS are not switched on.
Input cable is
disconnected.
Switch on the input breaker.
Make sure the input cable is
connected.
3 The UPS does not
indicate any failure,
but output do not
have voltage Output cable is
disconnected.
Output breaker is switched
off.
Make sure the output cable is
connected.
Switch on the output breaker.
4 Utility LED is flashing Utility voltage exceeds the
UPS input range.
If the UPS operates at battery
mode, pay attention to the
remaining backup time needed
for your system.
5 Battery LED is
flashing but no
charge voltage and
current observed. Battery breaker is switched
off, or batteries are
damaged, or a battery is
reversely connected. Switch on the battery breaker.
