Check the input AC voltage of the rectifier

•

Replace the diode if there is input voltage with no output on the component. (Refer to the diagram above for contacts
and polarity).

•

If the diode is found to be OK check the voltage and resistance value of the main coil. The diode must be put out of
circuit to check measure resistance of the main coil.

•

The resistance should be 2.2 Ω
