Using the Phone

if you wish to dial another number while waiting for call completion (Fig. 2).
You can now hang up the handset to return to the idle screen (Fig. 3); use handset, headset, or
speakerphone to dial another number; receive calls etc. Call completion will not interfere with the
normal operation of your phone.
If you want to turn off call completion for this call, press
/
.
3. When the number becomes available, you will see it announced on the display (Fig. 4) and hear a
double beep if you are in a call.

QuickLookUp (number guessing / auto completion)
When the function is enabled, the phone proposes numbers containing the typed string from the
numbers saved on its call lists and in the directory as soon as you have typed the minimum number
of digits. If there is more than match, select with
/
on the navigation key and press to dial.
The default setting as of firmware version 10.1.33.33 is enabled, and the minimum number of
characters that must be entered before QuickLookup starts looking for matches is three.

In the following example, the minimum number of characters is four.

: In earlier FW versions, the default setting for the number guessing/auto
completion function is
off
. To enable it, open the phone's web interface to the
Advanced Settings
page,
Behavior
tab (available in admin mode only). In the
Phone
Behavior
section, change the
Number guessing
setting to
on
, and enter the minimum
number of characters that must be entered before number guessing will start.
