Maintenance

CALIBRATION UTILITIES

The calibration menu incorporates other utilities to assist the operator. Below are a list of those utilities.

Pod identification

Pods that are shipped with the aligner are matched to the aligner
WAP and PC. In the event a new or replacement pod are received

the alignment system uses “scan and find” process called “pod

identification”. The Pod Identification is used to marry

the pods with the alignment system. Follow the steps
listed to marry a set of exchanged pods to an alignment
system.

Select the Pod Identification button.

The user is instructed with a WARNING that this process should be

performed by trained individuals. Click on the <OK> button to
proceed.

Make sure that the pods to be identified are powered up and ready

to be located. If multiple aligners are used in the shop it is not
necessary to power them down to complete this process. Click
on the <OK> button to to activate the scanning process.

Using Bluetooth

technology the WAP searches for any aligner pod

in the area. Please be aware that it’s possible for the system

to find a pod that may be located at the shop across the street.

This will not interfere with the pod identification process.
