This P ort F orwarding function supports 2 types of Services:
•
P redefined Service
•
Customer Defined Service
P re d e f in e d S e rv ic e
The P redefined Service option has a pull-down menu with several popular Service Applications,
such as H TTP (8 0), F TP (20/ 21), and AIM/ ICQ (5 190).
To configure the virtual server for a P redefined Service, follow the steps below:
1.
Select the [ Service] that you want to have access through the firewall to your L AN from
the pull-down menu.
2.
E nter in the [ L AN Server IP ] for the L AN P C that is running this service or application

Y ou can also configure [ R emote IP s] option to allow access to this specific port from
the W AN side. This can be configured for 3 different access types:
a.
Any IP Address [ Any] – choose this option to allow access to any public IP
address.
b.
Single IP Address [ Single Address] – choose this option to allow access to a
single public IP address.
c.
IP Address R ange [ Address R ange] – choose the option to allow a range of public
IP addresses.
4.
Click the [ Apply] button to save your changes and return to the P ort F orwarding main
screen
