Projector Ready Lights and Projector Status
The UF55/UF55w projector’s two indicator LED lights (Power and Temperature) are located on the
boom-mounted projector. Specific light sequences convey information about the state of your projector, including
warning messages and issues. The following table describes projector warning messages and issues.

Temperature Exceeded
If the Temperature Exceeded indicator message appears, and your projector turns off during use, one of the
following issues is occurring:
• Your projector has overheated internally. The projector can overheat due to blocked air vents or an ambient
temperature over 55°C.
• The temperature outside your projector is too high.
1. Wait 15 minutes for the projector to cool down before attempting to restart.
2. Make sure that nothing is blocking the air intake and exhaust.
3. Disconnect the power cord from the power outlet.
4. Reconnect the power cord.
5. If the previous steps don’t resolve the issue and your projector still doesn’t turn on, unplug the power cord,
and then contact your
authorized SMART reseller .
After you resolve your projector’s issue, you must unplug and then re-plug in your projector
power cable, clear the indicator light sequence and reset your projector’s status.
