(1) Filter (N2029) fitted to Fresh gas
supply
(2) Filter (N2187) fitted to
exhalation block. This removes
the need to sterilise the
exhalation block between
patients.
(3) Filter (N2187) fitted to the rear
of the exhalation block. This
serves two purposes;
(a) To reduce the noise of the
inspiratory gas flow;
(b) To act as a bacteria filter for
the expiratory gas should the
filter (2) be omitted.

LOCK
This can be removed and steam
autoclaved. The orifice block and the
rotating jet shaft can be wiped with a
mild detergent. Care should be taken
when handling the rotating jet shaft.
