APPENDIX 6 FITTING THE SOLAR PANEL TO THE MAST
Parts kit for connecting the Solar Panel enclosure to the mast
1) Screw the dome nuts onto one end of the studding.
2) Place a nylon washer underneath and then insert the studding
through the top holes of the solar panel pole mount, through the
spacers, which clamp the pole and then fit the nut.
3) Repeat for the bottom holes of the solar panel pole mount.
4) Tighten the nuts.
5) The assembly should now be tight on the mast.

6) Raise the moveable half of the solar panel bracket into the
horizontal position. The solar panel can now be bolted onto
the bracket.
IMPORTANT - Ensure that the wires from the solar panel are insulated and not able touch
anything at any time.
