D
Choose the scalecode desired (usually Option 0 - Raw data count or Option 1 - Ax + B scaling
for digital channels). The software will then display all the choices you have made for this
digital channel. If correct, press Y to accept and return to Main Menu.
If at any time you wish to switch off a software channel, e.g. to increase logging capacity,
choose Option 5 - Channel Off from the Scalecode menu.
Note that although more than one software channel may be ascribed to a hardware
channel, eg. voltage, perhaps with two different gains, it is not advisable to do so for digital
channels. At each Sample time, the accumulated digital counts are ‘read’ by the logger and
the counter is then re set to zero. If more than one software channel is used with a digital
channel, the higher number software channel will return counts accumulated only between
the first and second scans of the hardware channel (usually less than 1 second).
NOTE – always press Escape to leave Main Menu mode and return to Log Mode. Else the
logger will not record any data and batteries will drain quickly.

2 - THERMISTOR (10K)
3 - INTERNAL RH%

Choose Option 3 - Internal RH%. The software will then display all the choices you have
made for this internal temperature reference channel. If correct, accept and return to Main
Menu.
If at any time you wish to switch off this software channel, e.g. to increase logging capacity,
choose Option 5 - Channel Off from the Scalecode menu.
Remember, when configuring channels yourself, that there must be a suitable hardware
channel fitted in your D for the configuration you set. For example, it is no use to
configure software channel on say relative humidity , if there is no integral relative humidity
hardware in your logger. Check the Hardware Configuration Certificate if in doubt.
NOTE – always press Escape to leave Main Menu mode and return to Log Mode. Else the
logger will not record any data and batteries will drain quickly.
