The computer functions
SPM
The strokes per minute will be displayed (Display range: 0 to 999).
TIME/500M
Computer shows actual exercise time in minutes and seconds. Display range:
0:0 - 99:00. Additionally the time needed to row 500 meters distance will be
shown every 6 seconds.
METERS
The computer will show the distance exercised in meters
(Display range: 0 - 99.999).
CALORIES
The currently burned calories* are displayed. Display range: 0 - 9999 kcal.
STROKES
The display shows the strokes during the actual workout. Display range:
0 - 9.999. Every 6 seconds additionally the total strokes (accumulated strokes)
done with this device will be displayed. Please pay attention, that this figure will
also be set to 0, if the power connection is disconnected.
PULSE
The computer is showing the user’s heart rate* in beats per minute. For a cor-
rect display please ensure that the chest belt is correctly used (check respective
chapter in this manual).
*Hints:
a. If the computer display does not show any values, please check all plug-in connections carefully to ensure that they
have proper contact!
b.
The calorie consumption (kcal) values registered and displayed with this computer merely serve as indicative values
for a person of medium stature with medium resistance setting, and can deviate considerably from the actual medically
precise calorie consumption.
c. This computer has been tested according to the corresponding EMC standards. Even so, it is still possible for inter-
ference, in particular electrostatic discharge, to affect the display, possibly resulting in an unwanted reset or defect
display. In this case, simply restart the computer (wait for it to switch off and on again).
Button descriptions
RECOVERY
Press this button to start the heart recovery measurement
(
please check the respective chapter in this manual for further information).
RESET
Press & hold this button for appr. 2 seconds to reset all values to 0. Press the
button shortly to reset a single value to 0 (e.g. during a target value setting pro
-
cess). Press this button in a training pause to return to the initial display.
START/STOP
Press this button to start or stop a workout.
ENTER
With this button you can confirm data input or select different operating modes.
DOWN & UP
With these two buttons you may adjust values (e.g. target values) or the resis
-
tance level (Up = increase value and Down = decrease value).
