6.3. Video Stream Protocol
On the Video Stream Protocol page, shown in figure 6.4, users can select a protocol for
streaming media over the network:
•
RTSP
(Real Time Streaming Protocol, using UDP transport)
•
HTTP
(Hypertext Transfer Protocol, using TCP transport),
To configure the Video Stream protocol
1. From the Main menu, select
Streaming
and from the left hand menu, select
Video Stream Protocol
.
2. Select one of the following protocol settings:
•
MPEG-4 over RTSP, MJPEG over RTSP
• MPEG-4 over RTSP, MJPEG over HTTP
• JPEG over HTTP, for internet use
• Multicast mode
To use Multicast mode, you must also supply the Multicast IP address and appropriate
video and audio ports.
