2.3.12 Modem Board
1. Remove the battery pack, keyboard, CPU, hard disk drive, CD/DVD-ROM drive, DDR, modem card and LCD
assembly. (See sections 2.3.1, 2.3.2, 2.3.3, 2.3.4, 2.3.5, 2.3.6, 2.3.7 and 2.3.8 Disassembly)
2. Remove the housing. (Refer to the steps 1-3 of section 2.3.11 Disassembly)
3. Remove the one screw and lift the modem board, then free it. (Figure 2-28)

Reassembly
1. Replace the modem board into the housing and secure with one screw.
2. Replace the housing. (Refer to the step 3-4 of section 2.3.11 Disassembly)
3. Replace the LCD assembly, modem card, DDR, CD/DVD-ROM drive, hard disk drive, CPU, keyboard and
battery pack. (See sections 2.3.8, 2.3.7, 2.3.6, 2.3.5, 2.3.4, 2.3.3, 2.3.2 and 2.3.1 Reassembly)
