Click the

Run

button to connect to the Sonar Head.

This button is located on the top bar.

Note

If the sonar is operating, clicking the Run button stops operation and disconnects the
Sonar Head.

Verify that the Sonar Head connects and the sonar views update.

If you see an error in the

Output Messages

window, verify that the Sonar

Head has been discovered.

Click the

Sonar Setup

button.

This button is located on the top bar.

Observe that the

Sonar Setup

dialog box opens.

Click

Discover Sonar Heads

to search for the sonar on the network.

If the FM90 Sonar Head is found, select it, then click

Use Discovered Head

A discovered Sonar Head appears in the

Online Sonar Heads

list. If the Sonar

Head does not appear, the Ethernet connection between the Processor Unit and
Sonar Head has not been established.
