Measure Properties

Type
This setting defines the type of measurement that is expected from the catch
monitoring sensor.
•
Channel
This setting defines the channel number of the sensor. This is the communication
channel used between the catch monitoring sensor and the FM90. If you use more
than one sensor of the same type at the same time, the channel number on one of the
sensors must be changed to make it unique for that particular sensor. This must be
changed both in the actual sensor, and on the
Fish Sensors
page during configuration.
Tip
To change the channel number in the catch monitoring sensor, use the relevant
software program.

Enabled
Check this box to activate communication with the sensor.
•
Offset
This setting defines the offset value for catch monitoring sensors that measure
spread and depth. The offset value for the spread sensor must be entered manually
based on your knowledge about the physical locations of the sensors and the
properties of the gear. The offset value for the depth sensors are determined during
calibration.
