Configuring the Shield Select Jumper
8. Jumper P6 near the field wiring terminal block is used to select the shield termination for the DC
Loop wiring. The jumper should normally be set to earth.
Note:
0V shield may be required in certain installations as determined by the authorized
Simplex technical representative (TR).
9. Download the Slave Exec files (BMUX Comms Module software, Flex-35 amp software, etc..),
CPU Bootloader files, and the new CFIG file to the 4100U/4100ES FACP (refer to the
4100ES
