Before disconnecting the hob form the mains, we recommend switching off
the cut-off switch and waiting for approximately
25
seconds before disconnecting
from the mains. This time is required to allow for the complete discharge of the
electronic circuitry and thus preclude the possibility of electric shock from the
cable terminals.
Keep the Guarantee Certificate or the technical data sheet together with
the instructions manual throughout the product’s service life. These contain
important technical information.
INFORMATION RELATED TO ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Use pots or pans only with thick and flat bases. Trays with smaller diameter than
the indicated heating area are not recommended.
• Due to risk of scratching, do not slide pots and trays on the glass.
• Even though the glass can withstand the impact coming from large pots and
trays which don’t have sharp corners, please try not to hit it.
• To prevent the damage that may occur on glass induction suface, try not to
slide the pots and pans on glass and keep the bases of the containers clean
and well maintained.
• Try not to spill sugar and sugar-containing products on the glass; it will cause
damage when the surface is hot.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
In order to keep the device in the best state, clean with the appropriate tools
when it is cooled down. This will make the cleaning easier and prevent the
accumulation of dirt. Never use sharp the cleaning products or tools or steam
products.
Light dirt that isn’t adhered to the surface can be cleaned with a damp cloth and
a soft detergent or warm soapy water. For deeper stains or oils, use use a speical
cleaning agent and dollow the insturctions on the bottle. The sticky dirt resulting
from repeated burning can be removed by using a scraper blade.
Light tinting occurs due to the pots and trays that have dry and greasy residue on
their base or the requirement to grease between the glass and tray. These can
be removed by using a watered nickel scraper or an agent produced specifically
for ceramic heating plates. Do not immediately press onto the plastic objects,
sugar or food containing plenty of molten sugar with a scarper. Do not use glass
as a surface to place the objects.
When your work with scraper is completed, pull the blade back and lock it. (See
