Preparations
Setting up the appliance
♦
Before using for the first time, clean all parts as described in the section
”Cleaning”
.
♦
Place the appliance on a stable, level, dry surface near an easily-accessible
mains socket. If necessary, press the appliance down slightly to fix it to the
surface with the suction cups.
♦
Assemble the appliance as described in the section
”Assembling/dismantling
the appliance”
. If necessary refer to the illustrations on the fold-out page as
well.
♦
Place the filter

on the oil container
in such a way that the two latches
on the container
lie in the recesses on the filter

♦
Place the pulp and oil containers
under their respective outlets
.
♦
Plug the mains cable

into the mains connection

in the motor unit

In order to prevent one of the safety appliances from being triggered, do not
connect the mains plug to the mains socket until the appliance has been filled
and the lid
on the funnel
has been closed.
The appliance is now ready for use.
Assembling/dismantling the appliance
NOTE

The appliance cannot be started if the lid
and the funnel
are not
correctly assembled and the
press screw lock
is not correctly closed.
Assembling the appliance
♦
Move the swivel arm
to the highest position.
♦
Open the lock
on the press screw
by pushing it in the direction of
the
symbol.
♦
Push the press screw
as far as possible into the press screw housing
and insert both into the mounting in the motor unit

. The opening of the
press screw housing
must face upwards.
Note that the press screw
and housing
can only be inserted into the
mounting if the press screw
is correctly inserted into the housing
. The
part with the sealing ring must be about 5 mm deep inside the housing
;
the screw connection at the lower end of the press screw
protrudes
completely.
