Operating the appliance
Once you have fi lled the blender jug

while operating the appliance! Otherwise the blender

will detach and the ingredients will spill out!
NOTE

If you want to prepare a smoothie, turn the assembled appliance around so
that the blender jug

is facing upwards. This way, you can make sure that
the blade

constantly processes the ingredients and that the blade

does not run empty!
1) After fi lling the blender jug

and after assem-
bling the appliance, insert the power plug into
the mains socket.
2) Turn the appliance over so that the motor unit

and the speed control

face downwards and
the blender jug

is facing upwards.
Place the motor unit

on a stable surface.
3) Hold the blender jug

fi rmly with one hand.
4) Hold down the

to blend the food
into a smoothie at normal speed. Turn the speed
control

towards "Max" to increase the speed.
Turn the speed control

towards "Min" to
decrease the speed.
5) Hold down the turbo button

to process the food at a high speed. By
pressing the turbo button

, you immediately start processing at maximum
speed.
