GENERAL NOTICES AND WARNIGS - To be respected when the application is possibile.
Read carefully before using the appliances
Installation:
all installation, maintenance and/or modification of these control units and their devices must be carried out by qualified technical staff. These operations can be subject to specific
technical Standards which must be complied with. The device is envisioned to be used exclusively inside buildings protected from exposure to very high and very low temperatures as well as
tampering by children and/or persons without common sense for the purpose and effects of the Civil Code.
Electrical connections:
all electrical connections, without exception, must be made perfectly fixing all wires as envisioned in order to prevent accidental disconnection and closing the
containers and protection devices correctly. It is mandatory to disconnect all electric connections exceeding 25V in DC and AC before opening the containers of functioning appliances.
External power supply:
230V CA 50 Hz - connect in compliance with country law regulations
Batteries Rechargeable accumulators and/or batteries of any type:
these appliances use accumulators or batteries, which are potentially dangerous as they are pollutant, therefore
dangerous to the health of the public. Replace the accumulators and/or batteries exclusively with same models, position and connect them respecting the polarity indicated in the instructions. It
is mandatory to dispose of accumulators/waste batteries according to the Standards in force. This is also the case when the machines must be scrapped. The accumulators/batteries must be
previously removed, returning them to the appliance dealer or depositing them in the relevant containers made available by the distribution network. If liquid should escape from the batteries or
accumulators, use silicone gloves to protect the hands and prevent injury.
Liability:
the manufacturer declines all liability consequent to incorrect installation and/or failure to use the devices supplied.
Warranty:
the warranty is valid until the expiry written on the label inside the device in the terms envisioned by the Vienna Convention of 1980 regarding the International Sale of Goods.

network and/or public distribution with any means.
Standard conformity:
more of CE declaration, the products are in compliance with EN 50131-1 - environmental class 3 - and they are declared of category I by the standard 300.220 - 1
(04/2006)
1) GENERAL
The Keypad HT is a bidirectional keypad which can be integrated with the control panels of the Silenya Top / Free series and enables the total /
partial arming and the disarming of the control unit by means of a numeric 5-digit high security code. When the code is entered the device
transmits cryptographically, so as to prevent reproduction for fraudulent purposes, and receives from the control panel confirmation of the
operation. In addition, this keypad can transmit a "panic” alarm and other commands via radio transmission to the control panel or to appropriate
RX receivers in such a way that various domotic applications are possible. An internal buzzer confirms operations, emits low intensity sound
signals in the presence of new events and whenever it is necessary to change the batteries.
2) TECHNICAL
CHARACTERISTICS
Power supply:
3 x AA 1.5V batteries – Absorption 5 uA at rest, 70mA in operation – 2-year autonomy with 4 operations per day – Local low
battery signal by means of repeated beeps with each operation.
Functions:
Control of the control panel – panic alarm transmission – RX receiver control.
Display and controls:
8 LEDs for function control (see drawing)
Radio transmission:
Coded at 40 bit – frequency and power in accordance with legal requirements – range 100m in free air, approx. 40m
inside buildings, in the absence of disturbances on frequency bands used and of extensive background noise.
Dimensions - Weight – Container – Temperature:
See figure.
3) OPERATION
NOTE! After 8 failed attempts to arming and/or disarming, the keypad will block for 30 seconds and all LEDs will flash.
a) TOTAL ARMING:
Enter the 5-digit code, pilot lights A-B-C will flash, press the RED button.
b) PARTIAL ARMING:
Enter the 5-digit code, pilot lights A-B-C will flash, press buttons A-B-C of the zones which are to be
excluded, the relevant LED will switch off, press the RED button.
c) DISARMING:
Enter the 5-digit code and press the GREEN button.
d) ERRORS:
If an error is made in entering the code, zero it by pressing the ESC button.
e) CONFIRMATION OF OPERATION:
After each operation is entered, transmission to the control unit and the confirmation response are
displayed: The keypad emits 3 beeps and the LEDs of the zones entered will remain switched on for 30 seconds. After each operation is
entered, transmission and confirmation received are displayed: The keypad emits one beep and the LEDs of the zone remain off. The control
panel and the sirens also provide confirmation (see specific manuals) with adjustable visual / sound signals.
f) DISARMING UNDER DURESS:
It is possible to program on the Silenya HT control unit one or more codes which allow the control panel to be
disarmed while simultaneously activating telephone calls requesting assistance.
g) COMMANDS
F1:
programmed on RX receivers, it transmits a bistable command (ON / OFF).
! e F2 :
if programmed on the control panel, these allow the activation of sirens, operations and/or telephone calls by pressing the appropriate
button. If programmed on RX receivers, they transmit an impulse command to the receiver.
h) NUMERIC BUTTONS:
Programmed on RX receivers when required, these transmit a bistable command to the RX receivers by pressing a 1
or 2-digit numeric code followed by red (on) or green (off).
