Device description
The EC RTD.2 is a hand-held monofunction simulator which is intended for calibration and
maintenance and can be used either on site or in the laboratory. It can generate and measure
RTD signals.
The implemented sensor functions simulate specific supply variables and display an exact
given value. This distinguishes a signal calibrator from the conventional measuring functions
of a multimeter.
Scope of delivery:
Before using the device, check the delivered items:
1x EC RTD.2.
1x Set of industrial test leads (with alligator clips attached to probes).
1x Protective bag.
1x Operating manual.

Intended use
The monofunction simulator type EC RTD.2 may only be used for generation and measuring
of RTD signals.
The operational safety of the device supplied is only guaranteed by intended use. The speci-
fied limits (
§ 9 "Technical data") may under no circumstances be exceeded.
This applies especially to the compliance with the permissible voltage applied to the termi-
nals.
