Redundant 24 V DC power supply
Two identical power supplies (PSU8200) and a redundancy module (PSE202U)
are required for the redundant power supply. Ideally, you should connect both
power supply units to separate 120/230V electric circuits. To monitor redundancy,
the signal contact of the redundancy module is connected to one of the digital
inputs of the external peripherals. The signal contact is designed as a changeover
switch and can thus signal the "good" or the "bad" state. Apart from this, it is
possible to connect the power supply units to the external peripherals. The signal
contact of the power supply units is designed as normally open and signals the
"good" condition.
