Decommissioning

10.2.1

Removing the motor

Removing the motor must be performed and/or supervised by qualified personnel with

appropriate expert knowledge.

Removing the motor from the machine

Procedure

Disconnect all electrical connections.

Remove all liquids such as oil, water.

Remove all supply lines.

Remove the fixing elements from the motor.

Transport the motor to a suitable location for storage and dismantling.

You have removed the motor.

Dismantling the motor

Note

The rotor in a motor containing permanent magnets must only be removed by the

manufacturer.
Contact the Siemens Service Center.
